2. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Each time you access our site, the server automatically logs data (e.g. requested file, IP address, date/time, data volume transferred, referrer, user agent). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in stable and secure provision of the website). Log data is deleted after no more than 7 days.

2.1 Hosting (Data Processing Agreement)

We host this website with an external provider (Hostinger / WordPress & WooCommerce). Processing takes place within the EU/EEA. A data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the host. Details about the hosting provider (company location, sub-processors, data center locations) are available upon request.

2.2 Content Delivery / Performance

If we use a Content Delivery Network (CDN), static content is delivered via servers within the EU/EEA. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (faster and more secure delivery of content).

3. Contract Execution and Customer Communication

To fulfill contracts (order, payment, shipping, warranty, returns), we process personal data based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR; to meet legal obligations (e.g. tax and commercial record-keeping) based on Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR.

Data categories: master and contact data, addresses, order/invoice data, payment identifiers, communication data.

Retention: according to statutory periods (typically 6–10 years) or as long as legal claims exist.

4. Customer Account (Optional)

If you create a customer account, this is done based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).
You may delete your account at any time; afterwards, we only process your data where legally required or if you consent again.

5. Shipping Processing

For delivery purposes, we share necessary data with the shipping provider (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR), typically DHL (name, address, and—if applicable—email/phone for delivery notifications, shipment data). For deliveries within the EU/EEA/Switzerland, other carriers may be used.

6. Payment Processing

Depending on the chosen payment method, data is transmitted to:

  • Stripe (credit/debit cards, Google Pay, SEPA direct debit): Stripe Payments Europe and affiliated entities – Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR
  • PayPal: PayPal (Europe) S.Ă  r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg – Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR
  • Klarna (e.g. Pay Now / Pay Later / Installments): Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sweden – Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR

These providers process data under their own responsibility; please refer to their respective privacy policies.

6.1 Fraud Prevention and Payment Management

To prevent misuse or fraud and to optimize payment processes, checks may be carried out (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).

6.2 Credit Check with Klarna (only if selected)

For certain Klarna products, an identity or credit check may be required. We will obtain your consent beforehand (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). Without consent, these payment options cannot be used.

7. Newsletter / Direct Marketing (Currently Inactive)

We send newsletters only after explicit registration (double opt-in) based on Art. 6

(1) lit. a GDPR. You can unsubscribe at any time. Tracking (opens/clicks) occurs only with separate consent. Note: We currently do not send newsletters. Once activated, this section will be updated accordingly.

8. Cookies & Consent Management

We use technically necessary cookies (e.g. cart, checkout) – Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (2) No. 2 TTDSG.

Optional cookies/technologies (e.g. analytics or marketing) are used only with your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, § 25 (1) TTDSG).

You can adjust or withdraw your consents at any time via the Complianz tool located at the bottom of the page.

9. Web Analytics & Online Marketing (Currently Disabled)

We currently do not use optional analytics or marketing tools. We reserve the right to integrate services such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads/Remarketing, Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), Microsoft/Bing Ads, or Pinterest Tag in the future. Such tools will only be activated after your consent (see Section 8) and will be reflected in this privacy policy.

10. Social Media (Online Presence)

We maintain profiles on platforms such as Facebook/Instagram (Meta), YouTube (Google), and LinkedIn. When visiting our profiles, the respective platform’s terms and privacy conditions apply.
Platform operators process data for market research and advertising purposes. For Page Insights with Meta, a joint controllership under Art. 26 GDPR applies; the key details are provided by Meta.

11. Chat Tool (Optional, Currently Inactive)

If we introduce a chat tool, your chat messages and technical usage data will be processed to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) lit. b/f GDPR). If required, we will obtain your consent beforehand (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).

12. Data Transfers to Third Countries

If service providers process data outside the EU/EEA (e.g. in the USA), this is done based on adequacy decisions by the EU Commission or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR).

13. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and data portability (Art. 15–20 GDPR), the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR), and to withdraw any given consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), particularly in the Member State of your residence, workplace, or our business location.

14. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purposes.
Afterwards, data is deleted or anonymized unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

15. Updates

We update this privacy policy whenever technical or legal changes make it necessary.
